1 x Bottle of 2015 Las Beatas from Telmo Rodriguez Bodegas Lanzaga in La Rioja Alavesa in Spain. Bottle number 656 from a tiny 1512 bottles produced from a small plot of merely 2 ha in Labastida.
This is a highly sought after wine for collectors. Totally sold out since release, just about 200 bottles were released in Spain and Intelama wines acutions one of them. This has plenty of life in it but will drink perfectly now ideal for the upcoming celebrations.
Bottle is absolutely mint as per pictures. From our private stock collection - Kept in our controlled temperature cellar in pristine conditions.
About Las Beatas
------------
1.9 hectares in the northwestern most area of Rioja Alavesa, where Continental Miocene conglomerates blend
with outcrops of late Tertiary sandstones and marls. Ten levels of terraces facing east, south, and northwest. Old vineyards combined with young vineyards. Eight, maybe nine... local varieties. Las Beatas, an exceptional "site." Capable of providing water to the vines regularly, as only "grand crus" can.
Las Beatas has been aged exclusively in a 1,200-liter foudre in our old, cold cellar.

The simply amazing 2015 Las Beatas has been in bottle since May 2017.
2015 saw an early harvest that resulted in a wine with a little less alcohol but also less acidity, at least in theory. It's still very young and felt closed at first and took time to take off, but once it did there was no stopping it. It's a wine that takes time to reveal itself in the glass, and I believe the evolution in bottle will also be very slow. This is a powerful vintage with pungent flavors, amazing intensity and great length. It combines power with elegance. There is great detail with floral aromas, nuanced and finessed, a wine that opens up and doesn't stop changing in the glass. It has the elegance and freshness of the 2013, but it feels one step up in depth and complexity. The level of detail, precision and elegance here is really outstanding. This is truly a world-class wine.
99 Points James Suckling
Deep blue fruit, purple cherries, blood plums and immaculately fresh fruit. This is so silky, so delicate and so fresh. Exuberant with a sexy tannin texture, this is curvy and long with purpose and depth. Woody nutmeg spice arrives late. This has an incredibly long build and endless depth. Try from 2021
