Description from the seller
Exceptional collector's piece in Uranglas – Model 5736 'Taalari', Tamara Aladin, Riihimäki
Offered here is a rare and highly sought-after design vase from the 'Taalari' series (model 5736), designed by Tamara Aladin for Riihimäki Glasbruk. The model was introduced in 1968 and is now considered one of the most characteristic pressed glass works from Riihimäki's golden age.
This specimen is made of uranium glass and exhibits strong, even green fluorescence under UV light, which is clearly documented in the images. The combination of the geometric relief, the deep color, and the uranium content makes the vase particularly attractive to both design enthusiasts and uranium glass collectors.
