S.T. Dupont Paris - Large Line 1 Table Lighter - Guilloché Silver - France - 1970s decade
Magnificent S.T. Dupont Line 1 table lighter, made in France during the 1970s.
Made of solid brass with a silver plating and a guilloché finish called 'Diamond Head,' characteristic of the prestigious Parisian house.
It is the large table model, originally designed for a desk or a smoker's lounge.
The ignition is a mechanical wheel type, powered by butane gas. It retains its original system, functioning correctly and producing a stable flame.
The closing sound is smooth, typical of the first Line 1 models, prior to the characteristic 'cling' of the Line 2 models.
Condition of preservation
The lighter is in very good overall condition, with slight signs of use and a uniform patina that enhances its vintage character.
Well-maintained surfaces, without dents or deformations.
Sharp guilloché engraving across the entire structure.
Operating mechanism, lid with a secure closure.
Base engraved with the original inscriptions: S.T. Dupont – Paris – Made in France and visible serial number.
The finish retains its metallic shine, with slight signs of use consistent with its age. Completely original piece and without restorations.
