The artist exhibited at various Venice Biennales.
Navarrino Navarrini was born in La Spezia, in the historic Prione district, to a family of masons originally from Mugello.
Naturally inclined towards drawing, thanks to a scholarship granted to him by the Comune spezzino, he was able to attend the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence, where he studied under De Carolis. Later, still in Florence, he studied with Lolli at the Santa Croce Fresco Institute.
In 1927, he held his first solo exhibition at the Croce di Malta hotel in La Spezia. The following year, he was invited to the National Exhibition in Turin.
In 1931, he held a solo exhibition at the new Casa d'Arte in his city.
In 1933, he participated in exhibitions in Florence, Ravenna, and Milan. He took part in the Bergamo Prize and the Marzotto Prize. He exhibited in Argentina at the Ligurian Artists showcase.
Participated in the Gulf Painting Prize, the Venice Biennials of 1942 and 1950, and the VII Rome Quadriennale in 1955. In 1964, exhibited at the Ligurian Painting Review.
The city of Sestri Levante dedicated a posthumous exhibition to him in 2011 at Palazzo Fascie Rossi. Another important exhibition was dedicated to him by the Cardelli & Fontana gallery in Sarzana.
