Description from the seller
BODEGÓN NARANJA is a 70x100 cm painting by contemporary artist Ernest García. This painting creates an intimate and luminous scene centered around the color orange, which acts as the emotional and chromatic connecting thread of the entire composition. On a table covered with a light blue and white striped cloth —which adds rhythm and freshness— are arranged everyday objects turned into silent protagonists: a dark glass bottle, glasses of different shapes, cut and whole citrus fruits, and a small plate with a fried egg, simple and almost domestic.
The background, dominated by an intense warm orange, envelops the scene with a sense of sun, a leisurely morning, or an extended afternoon. This color not only unifies the whole but also interacts with the golden tones of the egg, the croissant, and the citrus, creating a cozy and lively atmosphere. Contrasts appear in the blue of the tablecloth and the cool reflections in the glass, balancing the overall warmth and adding visual depth.
The fruits — orange and grapefruit — appear cut open, revealing their juicy interior, which introduces a very strong sensory dimension: you can almost imagine the citrus aroma and the freshness of the juice. The croissant, placed on a red plate, adds texture and a nod to everyday life, while the fried egg, with its shiny yolk, reinforces the idea of a simple breakfast or meal, without artifice.
The brushstroke is loose, visible, and expressive, bringing life to the surfaces and avoiding any rigidity. The aim is not hyperrealism but evocation: each object is reduced to its essence, in its color and shape. The overall conveys calm, pleasure, and a celebration of everyday life, where small rituals — eating, drinking, sharing — are elevated to an aesthetic experience.

The work is offered directly by E. García, guaranteeing its authenticity through a certificate signed by the artist himself.
