Roberto Cordone’s aluminium sculpture Movimenti Elicoidali III (1988) is a hand-signed, three-part work from edition 24/150 by Konvolut 5 Elemente, produced in Deutschland, in excellent condition and accompanied by the original certificate and documentation, with two additional earlier aluminium elements accompanying the main series.
Description from the seller
Offered is an extensive collection of sculptural aluminum works by the Italian sculptor Roberto Cordone. At the center of the lot is the complete series Movimenti Elicoidali III from 1988, consisting of three independent, formally coordinated aluminum elements. This third series represents the mature culmination of the Movimenti Elicoidali series and is conceptually designed as a three-part sculpture that explores movement, dynamics, and spatial tension.
The series is numbered (24/150) and is offered with the original certificate as well as accompanying documentation. The dating 'Köln/Bonn, December 1988' is clearly documented, as is the institutional context. Material and execution – cast and polished aluminum – correspond to Cordones' typical working method in the late 1980s.
The offer is complemented by two additional aluminum elements, which are clearly attributable to the context of the work of Roberto Cordone in formal, material, and stylistic terms. These originate from an earlier, not specifically documented series and are explicitly included as additional individual objects in the collection without series or certificate attribution.
Overall, this is a collection relevant to both collectors and researchers, combining a fully documented main series with additional early works and offering a rare, comprehensive insight into Cordone's sculptural work.
The items are in excellent condition. Please refer to the photos for dimensions.
The goods are wrapped in padding foil and enclosed in bio-styrofoam within a double-walled carton for shipment via DHL.
