Carlos Gallegos García-Pelayo (Jerez de la Frontera 1909 – Algeciras 1962)

Carlos Gallegos García-Pelayo was a student of Nicolás Soro and Manuel Ágreda at the School of Arts and Crafts in Jerez de la Frontera. He continued his studies at the School of Fine Arts in Cádiz with Federico Godoy. He graduated from the San Fernando School of Fine Arts in Madrid in 1936.

He was a drawing teacher in Jerez, Valdepeñas, Tetouan, and Algeciras. Commander of the Order of Medhauia for services rendered to the Kingdom of Morocco.
A very well-executed work from the period when he lived in Morocco, where he contributed greatly to the arts of this country during that time of transition.
