Description from the seller
Rozès Golden White Colheita 1968 – Rare 56-Year-Old White Port
Exceptional long-aged white Colheita from Rozès, harvested in 1968 and bottled in 2018 after more than five decades of barrel maturation. This is a highly limited release and one of the most distinguished white Colheitas of its era — deep golden-amber in colour with layered dried-fruit richness, honey, citrus peel, caramel, nougat and toasted nuts, culminating in an elegant, persistent finish.
A rare chance to secure one of the few surviving white Colheitas from the late 1960s, drawn directly from the old casks where it evolved its unique oxidative depth and finesse. A true showcase of Douro craftsmanship at its highest level and a benchmark example of what long-aged white Port can achieve.
Includes the original Rozès presentation box in very good condition, reflecting careful storage — offered primarily for completeness, with the wine itself as the unquestionable centrepiece.
