This lot presents a rare set of three hand-painted artworks by Spanish artist Æ, part of his acclaimed Studio Ghibli Series. Inspired by My Neighbor Totoro (1988), the triptych reinterprets the quiet magic and contemplative atmosphere of the film through a restrained monochrome palette and ink-inspired textures.
Each artwork is individually hand-finished and signed by the artist. The edition is strictly limited to only 5 sets worldwide, with each piece numbered and documented in the artist’s official catalog. The set is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity with holographic seal.

About the Artist
Æ is a Barcelona-based artist and designer with academic training in Digital Design & Multimedia Technologies (2004) and East Asian Studies. His work merges minimalist composition, high-contrast imagery, and influences drawn from Japanese visual culture, conceptual art, and graphic subcultures.
His artworks are held in private collections in over 30 countries, including The Netherlands, Belgium, Italy, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Taiwan. In 2024, his work entered the Oriental Art Collection of the Zaragoza Museum, one of Spain’s most significant public archives dedicated to Eastern art.
Æ’s practice is characterized by a restrained palette and a focus on atmosphere, silence, and iconic imagery—inviting viewers to engage with familiar subjects through a contemplative, timeless lens.
