DESCRIPTION
Original 1964 U.S. first stereo pressing of “A Hard Day’s Night – Original Motion Picture Sound Track”, issued by United Artists Records to coincide with the film’s theatrical debut. This soundtrack album features a unique track lineup, combining Beatles vocal tracks with orchestral instrumental versions arranged and conducted by George Martin. Issued in a bold red cover with four top portrait panels, this edition remains one of the most visually iconic Beatles LPs of the early U.S. discography. The first stereo cover variation is identified by the lowercase “stereo” designation in the upper-left corner, black text spine, and “United Artists” logo boxed in the upper-right corner.
This particular copy represents the first cover variation, distinguished by the 3-line Maclen/Unart publishing text block printed on the rear cover — an early 1964 printing layout used before later 4-line and no-text revisions.
CONDITION
Vinyl: Presumed MINT (unplayed)
Cover: Factory-sealed, never opened (tight original shrink, only the slightest corners trace visible through wrap, small tear on edge)

1st Stereo Pressing (1964) — United Artists UAS 6366
First Cover Variation — with 3-line Maclen Music Inc. / Unart Music Corp. text block on rear
Early jacket by Modern Album Finishing Co., New Jersey

This soundtrack sequence differs from the UK Parlophone version, making it a collectible U.S.-only configuration
