Rated Excellent on Trustpilot.
Parker fountain pen with a button-fill mechanism, made in the United States, featuring a marbled brown copper-toned celluloid body and cap with gold-plated trim, 118 mm long and 10 mm in diameter, fitted with a 14K gold nib, in good used condition.
Description from the seller
The Parker fountain pen with a button fill system is presented in very good condition, especially noteworthy considering its age, dating from Parker's production in the 1930s–1940s.
The body and the cap, made of marbled celluloid in copper-brown tones, retain excellent color depth, with well-defined veins and a uniform shine. No cracks, fissures, or structural breaks are visible, and the material remains stable and visually appealing.
The gold-colored metal elements, including the Parker clip and the central ring, are well preserved, showing only slight signs of superficial use and wear consistent with the age of the piece, with no corrosion or significant loss.
The original engravings on the body and clip are clear and legible, a feature especially valued in collectible pens. The Parker 14K solid gold nib is intact, properly aligned, and shows no visible deformations, maintaining its original shape.
The button load system is complete and properly integrated into the body. The condition of the internal bag has not been checked, so it may require inspection or replacement for continued use.
Overall, it is a very well-preserved pen for its time, suitable for both collectors and restored use, representative of the quality and reliability of pre-war Parker pens.
It will be sent in a courtesy box for proper preservation.
