Montblanc Writers Edition Ernest Hemingway ballpoint pen, with a precious resin body and gold-plated clip and rings, 132 mm long and 13 mm in diameter, dating from the late 20th century, in working order with professionally repaired cracks and visible wear.
Description from the seller
The Montblanc Writers Edition Ernest Hemingway pen is presented in proper functional and aesthetic condition, with previously carried out conservation interventions that should be taken into account.
The body in precious resin, characteristic of this model, initially exhibited various cracks, which have been professionally repaired to stabilize the piece and enable its use and preservation. The repairs are visible upon close inspection, especially at the resin level, and are part of the instrument's conservation history. No active cracks or current propagation are observed.
The capuchón remains structurally stable, maintaining its proper fit. The resin shows signs of use and the passage of time, consistent with a limited edition from the early 1990s and the interventions carried out.
The gold-plated elements — clip and rings — show visible wear and surface marks, without structural deformations. The clip retains its proper attachment and functionality.
The white Montblanc emblem on the top of the cap remains present and recognizable, showing signs of aging consistent with the age of the piece.
The mechanism of operation is functional, allowing the normal use of the pen with a compatible Montblanc refill.
Overall, this is a pen with visible repairs, clearly not suitable for collectors seeking an impeccable original condition, but interesting as a user piece, a historical representation, or an affordable addition within the Montblanc Writers Edition collection. The description honestly and comprehensively reflects the actual condition of the pen, ensuring a transparent and professional sale.
It will be sent in a courtesy box for proper preservation.
