The work presents an intimate landscape where several rural constructions are arranged next to a small pond, organically integrated into the natural environment. The houses, with simple volumes and sloped roofs, are partially reflected in the water, creating a visual play of duplications and chromatic patches. The brushwork is loose and expressive, with predominance of ochre, earth tones, greens, and muted blues, applied freely and with a certain material density. The treatment of color and the simplification of forms clearly refer to the early 20th-century Fauvist ideology, prioritizing expressiveness and atmosphere over detailed description. The overall scene conveys a sense of calm and introspection, heightened by the absence of human figures and the stillness of the landscape.

The piece is presented with a gilded, moulded wooden frame, with a classic aesthetic and an aged finish. It includes a light-toned mat that enhances the central scene and adds visual depth to the overall presentation.
