Description from the seller

Art Deco wall lamp with tulip-shaped opal glass – circa 1925–1935

Description

Elegant original Art Deco wall lamp from the interwar period, dating from around 1925–1935.
The lamp is made with a characteristic tulip-shaped pressed opal glass, completely original, which provides a soft and even light distribution.

The fixture is made of white porcelain (or high-quality enameled metal) and beautifully finished with black, flowing lines. This combination of organic shapes and sleek accents is characteristic of the Art Deco style. Such lamps were commonly used in bathrooms, stairwells, and entrances of homes from the 1920s and 1930s.
This lamp was also installed above the stove and was therefore called POTTEKIJKER, now suitable for above the agakoeker?
