Ryszard 'Ryho' Paprocki, born in 1963, is a versatile Polish artist working with various techniques, including oil painting, drawings, sculpture, printmaking, and installations. He studied at the Technical University of Kraków and the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków.
Paprocki is known for his monumental illusion paintings in public spaces, such as the 3D painting 'Moc Żywiołów' on the water dam in Niedzica (2011). Additionally, he has created various murals, including 'Wincenty Witos – Polonia Restituta' in Wierzchosławice and 'Allegory of Mathematics and Computer Science' at the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science of the Jagiellonian University.
His work has been exhibited both domestically and internationally, with shows in cities such as Hannover, Paris, and Frankfurt. His paintings are among those in the collection of the Museum of the Botanical Garden of Jagiellonian University in Krakow.
Viewings are of course possible. Additionally, we have our own in-house framing workshop, which is celebrating its 85th anniversary. Furthermore, we make use of restorers from the industry organization: 'Restauratoren Nederland'. If you wish to utilize this service, please let us know. Collection of purchased works can be arranged on Monday and Tuesday from 10:00 to 17:00, Wednesday and Thursday from 10:00 to 14:00, and Saturday from 10:00 to 16:00.
