Artist biography
LLUIS PARRAMON
Born in Anglés (Girona) in 1969.
Self-taught painter, at the age of 18, he held his first solo exhibition in Anglés.
In the family woodworking workshop, he acquires his drawing skills from childhood, which he will later complete. At 18, he holds his first solo exhibition in Anglés, his hometown.
Exhibited in: Anglés, Amer, Girona, Barcelona, Vic, Castellar del Vallés, Manresa, Sitges, Platja d'Aro, Madrid.
He has participated in the Art Fairs of:
BARCELONA: Art-Expo. GIRONA: Inart. MARBELLA: MARBart. BELGIUM: Lineart.
Parramón was born to be a painter, and he demonstrates this fully in each of his canvases. A natural creator, demanding of his own work, constantly dissatisfied with the good results achieved. His paintings align with a vibrant, intense, and richly colored neo-impressionism, with firm brushstrokes. A natural observer of reality, he translates it onto the canvas through intense work of refinement. A deep connoisseur of the themes he paints from Barcelona or Girona, with their corners full of history, or the Costa Brava. Interior landscapes or seascapes where he combines the thousand shades of blue of the sea, serene skies, and green tones woven with great richness. His rich, pasty palette is at the service of his art.
He is a complete painter, having undertaken a long creative journey in just a few years. He is young, but veteran in wisdom.
