In this suspended moment between snow and sea, Laurent Chimento offers a poetic vision of a winter landscape where time seems to have stopped. Between sky and sea, the scene unfolds in a gentle, dreamlike atmosphere, bathed in the diffuse light of the moon.
The gaze is guided by a snowy path leading towards the horizon, where a solitary silhouette stands still against the vast sea. In the distance, a dark ship glides across the calm water, suggesting a distant and almost unreal presence. The sky, painted with subtle shades of green, blue, and cold pinks, envelops the scene in a soft, enveloping light.
The fluid and delicate touch, deliberately vaporous, gives the whole piece great emotional depth. The artist is not trying to depict a specific place but to capture a state, a fragile and fleeting sensation, between anticipation and daydreaming.
A contemplative and timeless work that invites the viewer to pause, introspect, and meditate.
Laurent Chimento is a professional painter born in 1974 in Manosque, Alpes-de-Haute-Provence.
He explores in his painting the territories of dreams and memory. His suspended villages, imaginary architectures, and lunar lights convey a quest for harmony between the real and the imaginary.
Through a vibrant palette where deep blues, golds, and incandescent reds converse, he creates interior landscapes imbued with poetry and mystery.
His style, which could be described as poetic expressionism, blends the spontaneity of gesture with a rigorous construction of volumes. Each work thus becomes a symbolic place, a refuge where light tells the soul of things.
Collectors from over 35 countries have acquired works by Laurent Chimento (USA, Mexico, Japan, China, Taiwan, Thailand, Australia, Lebanon, Spain, Italy, England, Belgium, Switzerland, Germany, Greece, the Netherlands, Sweden, etc.).
Careful packaging and fast shipping with tracking and insurance for France and internationally.
