Description from the seller
Original 2D silkscreen print
Artist: James Rizzi.
the proud valley
Frame size approximately 52 x 42 cm.
Sheet size approx. 40 x 30 cm
Limited to 125 pieces
A large, rare print from 1986 with vivid colors.
Printed, signed, titled, and numbered.
High-quality sample print ('Flat-Print') outside the regular edition as a 3D construction.
These works by Rizzi convey a cheerful and optimistic image of the modern metropolis New York and are characterized by their colorful and partly childishly naive design. A classic Rizzi motif with the day/night division and the laughing houses.
For each edition, there are some so-called 'Overruns'. These are of great importance to the production process of the edition and are very rare, as they usually remain with the publisher and do not enter the trade. Originals and 3D constructions are scarce and almost no longer available!
You will receive the sheet ready in the black wood frame for hanging, as shown in the product photos, from the exclusive series.
I pack securely and ship with tracking and insurance so that your picture arrives undamaged.
