The composition depicts a sacred scene featuring the Holy Family: the Virgin Mary holds the Child Jesus in her arms, while Saint Joseph observes tenderly from a secondary plane. To the right of the scene, the Archangel Gabriel approaches with a gesture of reverence, adding a celestial presence that envelops the scene in an atmosphere of devotion and serenity. The light, directed towards the faces and hands of the protagonists, creates a strong contrast with the dark background, typical of Baroque chiaroscuro. The brushwork is delicate and precise, especially highlighting the folds of the garments and the sweet, expressive features of the figures.

The frame, visible in the image, is of a classic golden style, with ornamented moldings and a finish that highlights the solemnity of the artwork.
