Marco Corridoni presents the unique original artwork FIXED Fontana - no.03, a 2025 mixed‑media on canvas piece (50×70 cm) signed by hand and produced directly by the artist in Italy.
Description from the seller
FIXED Fontana - no.03 (2026)
water-based painting on canvas, leather, metal
50x70cm
UNIQUE and ORIGINAL WORK
Special edition of the 'Fixed Fontana' series celebrating the beginning of 2026.
The artist draws inspiration from Lucio Fontana's spatial concepts to rewrite art history, through a manipulation of his artistic poetics, suspended between citation and desecration.
The cuts are sewn up, symbolically, to shorten the space rather than 'opening' it.
Expectations are disappointed, almost as a sign of protest against a way of making and selling art that has little or nothing to do with the originality and essence of art itself.
The canvases are prepared in the style of Fontana, and the cuts, strictly made by hand by the artist, echo those of his most famous works.
Each cut is fixed with a black canvas on the back, just as documented by Lucio Fontana: this gives stability to the work and a refined aesthetic effect.
Work signed on the back
Photographic certification included
Customizable frame available separately
