'BARBARA NICOLETTO’ - Italian Artist.
Born January 1968 – Padua
Active between Reggio Emilia and Padua.
Forever passionate about art and drawing, she pursued studies at the Pietro Selvatico Art Institute in Padua, specializing in painting, experimenting with various representative techniques such as watercolor, tempera, acrylic, ink, oil, and printing techniques, thanks to masters with deep knowledge of ancient techniques reinterpreted with new formulas and current approaches, making her an ever-innovative and experimental artist.
Her search for new stimuli and evolutionary balances led her to collaborate in the sports world, actively combining different disciplines for physical and psychological well-being, which, mixed with the visual arts, supports and guides her toward teaching artistic disciplines and new professional goals.
Her Art can only evolve and change with her mood and curious personality! She rarely presents as a single recognizable artistic face in a linear production line, but will diverge and amaze with her eclectic malleability.
1989/2011 - She continues her work in the furniture sector as a designer for several important Veneto and Emilia-Romagna companies.
2017 to present - Independent Artist; Atelierist, painting student and related subjects at Reart Reggio Emilia.
She continues experimenting thanks to her great passion for other cultures abroad, deepening her knowledge of analog and digital photography, inspiring her works.
Her curiosity for different modes of artistic expression brings her closer to the world of ceramics, with Raku being her favorite.
The technique will be learned and developed in the great studio of master Nico Toniolo in Marostica.
She has participated in several art competitions with works that received jury recognitions such as the first prize at Raku Padova Arts in 2001. Further development of the illusionistic technique of marble and stone such as travertine and Carrara marble.
*Currently her most-used technique is oil, continually evolving through mixing material grounds with ultramarine blue, metallic oxides, pumice, and anything the moment or circumstance brings her to at that moment.
Deep animal gazes, distant peoples, moons and fantastical landscapes!
*She works and evolves an innovative original abstract Sealing artistic style. Unique in its kind.
She participates in various exhibitions with subjects and themes always different, making her works appear as if by different hands, all thanks to her imaginative and eclectic transformative ability.
*Her fertile mind leads her to approach art with a new, deeper, more subjective gaze, stripping it of paradigms with which it is labeled, returning it to its true nature, that of speaking the language of feelings and the deepest human instincts, even by passing words. After three years of study, she earned the title of Art Therapist recognized by UNI PRO.
