Diamond - Fountain pen

This is a lot of nine beautiful fountain pens dating from around the 1930s, made of celluloid. Six of these are 'marbled,' one marbled brown, one gray with black and blue details, one blue with black details, one green, one turquoise with black details, one light green, one striped green and black, one spirally worked in beige 'caffè latte' tones, and the last gray and black with a 'patchwork' of rectangles (absolutely beautiful...!!!). All are truly fascinating, made in Italy, specifically in what was once the 'capital of fountain pens,' namely Settimo Torinese.
The Diamond markings are on the nibs, which are made of steel and marked DIAMANT (4), EROS (3), and ASTRO (2). They were certainly originally with the pen because I have had others with the same colors and the same nibs.
The pens are new, never sold, never inked, a true 'leftover stock,' but of course, being 90-year-old pens, they definitely require inspection and adjustment if you want to use them.
These are nine quality pens, not the usual anonymous 'cheap pens' from a market stall, pens made with barrels and caps in REAL CELLULOID, well-crafted pens with a very fascinating appearance.
The pens are, as mentioned, of good quality and 'large size,' ranging from 142 to 145mm. They are 'large' pens and are also quite 'chunky.'
The diamonds now for sale are new, never used, as already mentioned, but they are 90 years old, and any slight oxidation or micro-scratches are due to their age and not use.
The pens for sale, even if they are new 'New Old Stock,' are vintage items. They are untested, and we do not guarantee their use. In fact, we recommend that if you wish to use them, you have them checked and possibly serviced.
