Montblanc Meisterstück 146 fountain pen in black precious resin with gold-plated clip and rings, a 14 carat solid gold nib (585) inscribed with 4810 and Germany, produced in the late 20th century, 142 mm long and 13 mm in diameter, in good used condition and in working order with its original piston-filler mechanism intact.
Description from the seller
The pen is in very good overall condition, fully maintaining the aesthetics and quality characteristic of the Montblanc Meisterstück 146 line.
The body and cap, made of black precious resin, retain a high, uniform shine with slight micro-scratches typical of careful use and consistent with the age of the model. No cracks, chips, deformations, or repairs are visible. The white Montblanc emblem on the cap's end is complete, well-defined, and firmly integrated.
The gold-plated metallic elements (clip and hoops) maintain a clean and shiny finish, with no significant loss of plating or corrosion. The engravings 'Montblanc Meisterstück' and 'GERMANY' are clearly legible, with no noticeable wear.
The original 14-karat (585) solid gold nib is in very good condition, with no bends, cracks, or visible alterations. The engravings '4810', the Montblanc emblem, and the hallmark are clear and well preserved. The iridium tip has a regular shape, with no signs of damage.
The piston loading system functions correctly, with smooth displacement, indicating an operational and well-maintained mechanism (no blockages or abnormal clearances are detected).
Overall, it is an original, complete piece in solid condition, suitable for both high-end daily writing use and collectors seeking an authentic, well-maintained example ready to enjoy.
It will be sent in a courtesy box for proper preservation.
