Gan-Erdene Tsend (1979) is a German-Mongolian artist whose painterly work represents a symbiosis of Mongolian homeland and German everyday life.
In 2001, Tsend moved to Germany to study at the University of the Arts Münster. After two preparatory years, he was part of Hermann-Josef Kuhna's painting class from 2003 to 2010, and in 2007, he became his master student. In 2010, he received the university diploma with distinction. Since then, he has been living as a freelance artist in Münster.
