AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Here is a magnificent specimen of a solid gold perpetual calendar!! It is an Eberhard Les Quantiéme Perpetuel, produced in very few pieces (fewer than 4 known), with an ETA 2892/A2 caliber driving a perpetual module produced by Kelek Dubois Depraz and encased by the top Swiss makers such as Corum, Theorein, Chronoswiss, Audemars Piguet, etc.. The round case has a diameter of 33 millimetres, features fluted side finishes, and a thickness of 10 millimetres, which is a record for an automatic perpetual calendar! The white dial makes the indicators perfectly visible; the inscriptions are in Italian, a rarity even at the time, but today impossible to find. The refinement of the design of this perpetual calendar is evident from the fact that the date, month, and day of the week indicators are all horizontal! It is in perfect condition, and on the wrist it conveys an image of elegance and refinement, as befits the prime complication of watchmaking! A very rare watch, in splendid condition, complete with the original buckle, the Eberhard box, and the instruction booklet, essential for setting all the functions of the perpetual calendar. The specimen for sale has been serviced by a very famous Italian watchmaker and is functioning correctly; in the photo you can admire the perpetual mechanism, which shows exceptionally high-level finishing, including Anglage on all levers, Côtes de Genève on the rotor, and Perlage on the other surfaces! The watch has been described in the most important watch forums, eliciting enthusiastic comments from all enthusiasts, whom I invite you to search for and read! Shipping will be at the purchaser’s expense; the cost is purely indicative and will be set after the end of the auction, depending on the destination. A brief description in English: "Three-body, solid, reeded band, stepped bezel, straight curved lugs, correctors on the band, snap-on case back, sapphire crystal. Dial with applied yellow gold baton and dot indexes, subsidiary dials for the days of the month, of the week, the months, the leap year indication apertures for the phases and ages of the moon, outer minute/second divisions. Yellow gold baton hands. Cal based on ETA2892-2, rhodium plated, fausses cotes and oeil de Perdrix decorations, 21 jewels, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance, shock absorber, selfcompensating flat balance spring, index regulator. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 33 mm. Thickness 10 mm."
