Description from the seller
Description of the work
Crown of Saturn is a work in which the female figure is depicted in a state of inner reflection, with a crown embodying Saturn as an archetype of time, discipline, maturity, and acquired awareness. Saturn is not understood as weight or limit, but as a teacher: the time that structures, educates, and shapes identity.
In this work
The crown does not represent an external power, but an internalized consciousness.
The face, with closed eyes, expresses introspection, acceptance, and listening to lived time.
The chromatic language, made up of muted, earthy, and cold tones, dialogues with Saturnian energy.
The symbol on the forehead alludes to inner vision and the wisdom that arises from overcoming trials and boundaries.
It is a Saturnian figure: a feminine presence that has crossed time and carries it within herself as knowledge, not as a burden.
