William Souchon, Fire - Collection 'Elements', a 2025 original digital painting on support with Ultra Chrome pigment inks, 72 × 72 cm (73 × 73 × 3.5 cm with frame), signed on the plate, sold with frame, produced in France.
Description from the seller
"Fire" exhibit at the 2025 international contemporary art fair in Lyon, France, embodies the raw energy of movement and transformation.
This is a digital print transferred onto a support with Ultra Chrome pigmented inks for a luminous, colorful result with a sense of depth. The artwork is then mounted back-to-back for durability (acid-free, neutral pH). The framing is chrome for an elegant and modern presentation. Finally, the finished piece is covered with high-quality glass.
Dimensions: 70x70 cm
Dimensions with frame: 73x73x3.5 cm
Through incandescent flows and swirling molten matter, the work gives the impression of a living, almost conscious fire that unfolds in space.
The lines seem to draw the eye inward into the panel, creating a sense of depth and a vortex. Fire here is not just a destructive flame but a creative force: it shapes, reveals, and transforms. The contrasts between luminous areas and darker masses reinforce this ongoing tension between chaos and mastery. The deliberate abstraction leaves viewers with complete freedom of interpretation. Some will see an explosion, others a wave of heat, a vital breath, or a turning point. 'Fire' then becomes an open window to an inner emotion, an energy that each person can project and feel differently. This work is part of a reflection on the fundamental elements, where fire symbolizes power, passion, and renewal.
