Description from the seller

Travel Case
Limited Edition Fine Art Print
Travel Case is a restrained and powerful fine-art work in which the human body is reduced to pure form, silence, and presence. In this exclusive black-and-white composition, photographer Guy Hautier creates an image that balances between intimacy and distance, between calm and restrained tension.
The body rests on a closed travel suitcase — a subtle reference to movement, departure and inner journey — while light and shadow meld into an almost sculptural composition. The image breathes contemplation and timelessness, stripped of any superfluous context.

Exclusive edition
This Fine Art Print is issued in a strictly limited edition of only 20 copies worldwide.
Each print is individually numbered, hand-signed by the artist, and comes with an official certificate of authenticity. Travel Case is thus a rare and collectible work of art.

Specifications
Format: 40 × 60 cm, with a royal white margin.
• Paper: Hahnemühle Photo Rag Bright White 310 gsm
(100% cotton – museum quality)
Printing technique: pigment ink printing with matte finish.
for maximum detailing and deep, velvety black tones

The work
In Travel Case, the female body is portrayed in a closed, inward-facing posture. The bent pose and the folded silhouette form a powerful composition of lines and volumes, in which tension and vulnerability reinforce one another. Subtle details — such as the skin texture and the discreet tattoos — add a personal, human layer without anchoring the image in time or identity.
The pitch-black background strips away any distraction and elevates the body to an autonomous object in space. The light touches the skin softly and in a controlled manner, revealing form and rhythm, and lets the shadows speak where words remain silent. Never explicit, always refined.
This work transcends the classical nude: it is a study in introspection, balance, and quiet elegance.

About the artist
