B - EO Anglaise, published by Publicness in 1972, with artist Hogo Pratt, in near mint condition.
Description from the seller
HUGO PRATT CORTO MALTESE THE LAGOON OF THE BEAUTIFUL DREAMS PUBLICNESS 1972
This is the English edition published by Publicness of this splendid Corto Maltese story "La lagune des beaux songes" that the publisher himself had produced in this giant French format in the same year…
This English print run intended for the American market to please Hugo Pratt, whose graphic sources come from over there: from Milton Caniff to Young…
There is a print run note for 90 copies marked in pencil in the bottom margin of the last page: impossible to know if this English edition really was published in so few copies (the French edition did not have a huge print run either)?
These paperback copies were very fragile due to their very large format: one wonders if some people handled them like a daily newspaper?
Paperback; color cover
Very light central crease
2 small creases on the front cover
Book size: about 30 x 44 cm
Paper: 160 gsm
Editions: PUBLICNESS 1972
Near mint.
Very rare in this condition for this highly fragile album.
Generally worn corners and rubbed covers
Please look at the photos as they are part of the description.
Careful shipping via Mondial Relay for France.
