Description from the seller
I am an Italian-Venezuelan artist whose practice is rooted in op art and kinetic art. My work is the result of a life dedicated to civil engineering and a latent passion for design and architecture, heritage of my Italian roots.
After overcoming a serious health crisis due to COVID-19 in 2020, I experienced a revelation about the ephemeral nature of existence. This transformative experience drove me to channel my knowledge of structure, geometry, and perspective onto the canvas, finding in art not only a refuge but my vital purpose.
Style and Vision: Inspired by the mastery of Carlos Cruz-Diez, Victor Vasarely, and Bridget Riley, my work explores the interaction between color and form to generate movement and visual vibration. As an engineer, I apply absolute technical rigor in composition, seeking for the viewer not to be a passive entity but to interact with the work through optical perception. My paintings are a dance of mathematical precision that celebrates resilience and the new opportunity to live.
Recent Recognitions: My artistic proposal has been validated in major international competitions, highlighting my selection as a finalist in:
ArtSur / TooQ (2024) Artwork: Lights On
Target Prize (2025) Work: Chromatic Convergence
Bodegas Zifar (2025) Work: Broken Symmetry
Painting Contest Francisco Carretero (2025) Artwork: Broken Symmetry
When you acquire one of my pieces, you receive not only a high-quality optical art piece but also a testament to overcoming challenges and the vision of an artist who understands the structure of the world and the sensitivity of the soul.
Artwork signed on the back in black marker, with its original certificate.
Shipped without a frame. Properly protected and rolled, packed in a rigid plastic tube.
