Description from the seller

Stretch The Leg
Limited Edition Fine Art Print
Stretch The Leg is a still and powerful fine-art image in which the human body is reduced to pure form and tension. In this minimalist black-and-white composition, photographer Guy Hautier transforms the body into an almost architectural sculpture, detached from time and place.
The model rests on a sleek geometric volume, while one leg stretches vertically—a line of concentration, control, and physical intensity. Light and shadow model the body with utmost precision and create an image that feels at once serene and charged.

Exclusive edition
This Fine Art Print is issued in a strictly limited edition of only 20 copies worldwide.
Each print is individually numbered, hand-signed by the artist, and accompanied by an official certificate of authenticity.
A rare collectible for the connoisseur of contemporary art photography.

Specifications
• Size: 40 × 60 cm, with a generous white margin
• Paper: Hahnemühle Photo Rag Bright White 310 gsm
(100% cotton – museum-quality)
• Printing technique: pigment ink printing with a matte finish
for maximum detailing and deep, nuanced gray tones.

The work
In Stretch The Leg, the body is used as a composition instrument. The combination of a horizontal resting position and an extreme vertical leg line creates a subtle tension between gravity and control.
The white background and the sculptural podium deprive any narrative context, reducing the image entirely to form, balance and presence. The light glides over the skin in a controlled way and reveals volumes without becoming explicit — always refined, always subdued.
This work transcends the nude as a genre and functions as a study in body language, abstraction, and quiet power.

About the artist
Guy Hautier is a Belgian fine-art photographer who works at the crossroads of nude, portrait, and fine-art photography. His oeuvre is characterized by a pronounced minimalism, a sculptural approach, and a refined use of light.
In his images, he consistently seeks balance — between tension and calm, between body and space, between presence and silence.
