Description from the seller
BCN Fashion Beach
Every summer the show begins:
A narrow strip of land is transformed into a stage where anonymous actors play an imaginary role.
They perform a symphony of colors, chaos, and poetry in which everything seems to conspire in favor of a delicate balance between intimacy and exhibitionism.
The photos were taken on the beaches of Barcelona in 2007 and 2008. They are not manipulated in any way. They were exhibited in 2009 at the emblematic Kowasa Gallery in Barcelona with the publication of a catalog.***
In 2025, a decision was made to produce a limited series of 25 copies in a more compact and more accessible format than the first series.
Darius Koehli is a well-known visual artist based in Barcelona. His early works are in black and white and later in slides and digital. He was a pioneer in using mobile cameras for his book “Saurópolis”.
Their most well-known works are Saurópolis, BCN Fashion Beach, Inside Poble Nou, and Why Omaha?
Their work is in prestigious collections and public and private foundations.
Giclée print on heavyweight paper of museum-quality. Signed, dated and numbered in the lower white margin of the paper.
Bids over 200 euros will be rewarded with one of the latest limited edition catalogs (100 copies).
