Description:
Part of the ongoing Mooca Houses collection, Portugal revisits the idea of belonging and layered identity through architecture and light. Although the series began with façades from an Italian neighborhood in São Paulo, it has expanded to include houses from different cultures and memories.
Artist Biography
Patií is a Brazilian visual artist and architect currently based in France. Trained in Architecture and Urbanism, her artistic practice explores the relationship between space, memory, and material presence.
Her work has been exhibited internationally since 2010, including at MuBE – the Brazilian Museum of Sculpture (São Paulo), the Carrousel du Louvre (Paris), and solo exhibitions in Germany. She is currently in an artist residency in France, developing a research-based project.
