Arnaldo Pomodoro – Placca per IREF, a silvered bronze plaque 10 x 10 cm on a red velvet support 18 x 18 cm and 2 cm thick, with incised signature, edition 200, dated 1986, produced in Italy by ARS D Johnson, in excellent condition with original packaging and descriptive certificate of authenticity.
Description from the seller
Arnaldo Pomodoro - Silvered bronze plaque designed by the great Italian sculptor Arnaldo Pomodoro, who recently passed away, was produced by 'ARS D' and manufactured at Johnson's facilities in 1986 for the IREF Lombard Regional Institute of Training for Public Administration.
The plaque measures 10x10 cm and is placed on a support covered in red velvet that measures a total of 18x18 cm with a thickness of 2 cm.
On the back, there is either a wall-mount hook or the typical fold-out feature that allows the support to be displayed on a surface.
The work was produced in 200 copies and is registered with the Fondazione Pomodoro under the code M/86/4, with the incised signature of Arnaldo Pomodoro at the bottom right.
The sculpture is in virtually perfect condition (the photos are an integral part of the description), as is the stand, and it comes complete with its original packaging, but most importantly, with the descriptive/illustrative sheet, which is just as rare, if not more so, than the artwork itself, and also serves as its certificate of authenticity.
Insured shipping with DHL courier and fast delivery post payment.
