RFP was a member of the Underground Press Syndicate and you could use material from the members without paying copyright. That's why there is some fantastic Crumb, Sheldon, S. Clay Wilson etc. in the Real Free Press Illustration.
This underground paper was printed on nice white paper. Lettering and design by publisher Olaf Stoop. Format 43 x 31 cm. 24 pages.
They loved their classics and reprinted in nice editions Herriman, McManus, McCay, Wolverton.
