Beautifully illustrated set of 2 volumes of this reference work on the history of Napoleon written by Jacques Marquet de Montbreton de Norvins, a French historian and politician. The originality of these books lies in particular in the spine of the binding, with unusual romantic gilt stamps depicting Napoleon, the imperial eagle and the famous bicorne hat.
