José Paredes Jardiel (Madrid, 1928- Villajoisa, 2000)
Enroll at the San Fernando Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Madrid.
In its early period, it followed the informalist current of the moment, with a certain Cubist air, but in 1961 it moved to the new figuration and stood out as an exceptional draftsman.
In 1962 he was, together with Juan Genovés and other artists, one of the founders of the group Hondo, which proposed, as a reaction against abstraction, a figurative painting of an expressionist character.
This is a clear example.
