Pierre de Verclos sails for Tunisia around 1921–1922, where he establishes a ceramics workshop in Nabeul, a place with a long-standing tradition in the art of pottery.

Restored with a handle. See photo.
Having been struck by illness around 1936, the workshop continued under the direction of his wife Veronique until independence.
