Antique candlestick signed Tedd — Bird sculpture, marble base.
Antique candlestick resting on an elegant veined marble base, adorned with a sculpture depicting a stylized bird in régule, finely worked with relief details (feathers, volutes and floral motifs).
The brass candle holder, circular in shape, is stable and functional.
The sculpture is signed 'Tedd', a workshop signature known from several similar antique decorative objects, dating to the decorative production from the late 19th to early 20th century, probably a French workshop.
The item features a beautiful antique patina, uniform and not excessively cleaned, preserving the original appearance.
Elegant decorative object typical of Eclectic productions from the transitional period between the 19th and 20th centuries.
Good overall condition, normal wear due to age, preserved antique patina, natural markings and small scratches on the marble, no missing parts, overall stable; see the photos, they are part of the description.
