A unique Gustave Hauber silver necklace dating from the Bauhaus era (circa 1928–1935) from Germany, 41 cm in length and weighing 11.59 g, with circle and ball motifs in Bauhaus/Art Deco style, for women, in very good condition with minor signs of wear.

Unique silver necklace by Gustave Hauber featuring circles and spheres, sourced from his renowned jewelry atelier in Schwäbisch Gmünd.
The necklace was made around 1928-35 by one of his skilled, creative goldsmiths and silversmiths. (Bauhaus Era).
Dimension: flexible, 41 cm long.
Spacer piece dimensions: 14 cm wide.
Link dimension: 1 cm W x 1 cm L.
Chain is stamped on the last link with silver fineness 835 and Master mark "H".

Gustave Hauber - Schwäbish Gmünd - Germany
The company was originally founded in 1870 by Gustav Hauber as a factory for silverware and necklaces in Schwäbisch Gmünd.
In addition, artistically cast necklaces, watch chains, hunting jewelry, chatelaines, bag charms, rings, brooches and bracelets were made.
In 1905, Gustav's son Friedrich Hauber took over the company, and in August 1929, Berta Rohrmuss.
The company is currently led by Axel and Heike Rohrmuss.
Her jewelry is of high quality and very collectible!
Bauhaus ideas and designs were quickly adopted by silversmiths in the region starting around 1928.
Convincing modernist jewelry in the style of the 'Nieuwe Objectiviteit' emerged, showcasing a complete departure from classical jewelry and produced until the end of the 1940s.
The jewelry was characterized by geometric shapes such as spheres, cones, squares, loops, and spirals. A beautiful example is this necklace by Hauber from that period!
