Three vintage metal navigation instruments from the first half of the 20th century in good used condition with minor signs of aging, originating from the United Kingdom.
Description from the seller
The first three photos show a vintage, possibly liquid-filled compass.
Probably a ship's compass or an aircraft compass.
A production date between the 1930s and the 1950s.
Not entirely clear from which country it could be (East) Germany, but it could also be France, Sweden, or the Netherlands.
From photo no. 7698 onward, there is a Sestrel Moore ship's compass.
Produced by Henry Browne & Son from England.
Year 1940–1960.
Comes from England.
The last three photos are a maritime compass.
It is a navigation instrument that indicates the direction of the Earth's magnetic field.
Can also be used in a holder or as a hand compass.
Equipped with glowing numbers
It is a YCM compass from around 1965.
And it comes from Japan.
