Volume I: 745 pages, containing a large folding plate outside the text measuring 58 × 24.5 cm, complete and well preserved.
This plate depicts marine steam engines in detail with overviews, sections and mechanical elements.
Volume II: 546 pages
Volume dimensions: 24.5 × 16.5 cm
The book is enriched with numerous technical engravings within the text, as well as numerical comparison tables of steam engines, allowing for analysis and comparison:
