Description from the seller
INNER ECLIPSE
40X50 CM
Acrylic on panel
2026
The face emerges from the material like a fragment of memory or a whispered confession in the dark. It is a profile portrait, leaning upward with a silent anxiety, almost as if seeking air or a revelation in a space that closes in around it.
The features are carved out by a dense and impetuous gesturality: the tactile white clashes with the deep black of the hair and shadows, creating a visual tension that vibrates across the panel. The closed eye is not a sign of quiet, but the refuge of a gaze entirely turned inward, far from what happens outside.
Then, sudden and burning, the material lights up with red. A stream of vivid color crosses the cheek and brushes the lips, like an emotion held in for too long, a throbbing wound or a silent cry that finds no voice. The red is not just color; it is the accelerated heartbeat of a heart, the visible mark of an emotional tumult that tears the surface of composure.
This acrylic on panel captures the exact instant when fragility becomes desperate strength. The artist draws us into an intimate and vulnerable territory, where every layer of color tells the weight of unspoken thoughts, the beauty and the toil of exposing one’s raw essence to the world.
INNER ECLIPSE is painted with acrylics on panel. I started by applying a layer of water-based paint onto the wooden support, making the background tactile and irregular. With the acrylics I laid the color to create a marbled effect. Finally I painted the subject, allowing the texture created previously to show through in certain areas, achieving a dissolving of the face.
I applied a glossy protective varnish.
The painting will be shipped with its certificate of authenticity.

I have always lived art as an expressive necessity and a natural language. My artistic path immediately placed the female figure at the center, a subject that over time has evolved, transforming from a traditional figurative representation into a decidedly more intimate and conceptual inquiry.
Today my production focuses on faceless women. In place of facial features, the faces welcome evocative landscapes that fuse the human element with nature, projecting the viewer into a decidedly surreal scenario. The figure thus becomes a gateway to inner worlds, where personal identity dissolves to make space for a universal and timeless realm.
From a technical standpoint, the support I use is a wooden board. On this solid and living surface, I first create a base collage by layering newspaper pages glued with white acrylic paint, layering textures and visual suggestions. Subsequently, I intervene with acrylic painting. This overlapped process allows me to achieve a strongly tactile result, where the depth of the background dialogues with the color, giving the finished work a unique tactile and visual depth.
I have participated in several group and solo exhibitions.
My works have found homes in private collections around the world, in the United States, Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, France, Spain, and Poland.
