Christian Dior “Ballon” ermine coat – Yves Klein blue – Kohinoor ermine & fox fur
Exceptionally exclusive Christian Dior mink coat in a rare and spectacular Yves Klein blue shade. This iconic couture piece is made from mink of the highest quality (Kohinoor mink) and finished with luxurious fox fur, giving it a rich texture and a majestic appearance.
The “Ballon” model is a pronounced couture silhouette with deliberately extra fur incorporated. This abundance of volume—the “too much” of sable—enhances the sense of pure luxury, movement and dramatic elegance. A coat that does not try to please, but imposes.
It's one-size-fits-all; the shoulders and sleeves are a single piece. Length (from the collar to the bottom of the coat) 87 cm, bottom width 130 cm, sleeve-to-sleeve 135 cm.
The coat has been worn with care and is exceptionally well maintained, with a few signs of use (see photos). Out of season it was always stored professionally and cool, which has perfectly preserved the quality and suppleness of the fur. The condition is very beautiful and fully in line with what one would expect from a Dior piece in the top tier.
