Description from the seller

Good condition.

Description:
This copper decorative ornament depicts a small bird poised delicately on a broad lotus leaf, with a second leaf and gently curving stems extending outward to create a balanced, flowing composition. The piece is finely modeled, with careful attention to the bird’s posture, feather texture, and facial expression, giving it a sense of quiet alertness and natural life. The lotus leaves are rendered with softly ribbed surfaces and subtle undulations, their form suggesting both strength and organic grace.
The surface shows a warm, aged patina in muted gold and greenish-brown tones, characteristic of copper that has matured over time. This patina enhances the sculptural depth and lends the ornament a refined, understated elegance. The contrast between the smooth, rounded body of the bird and the broader, fan-like leaves adds visual rhythm and harmony.
