Ruslan Lobanov is one of the most influential artists in Eastern Europe. When photographing female nudes, he draws inspiration from film and fashion and produces erotic photographs in which sensual women's bodies are displayed without restraint. Breaking established codes, these women embody a feminine freedom that earned the photographer a distinction in Beverly Hills during the International Color Awards in 2015, and star in notable collaborations with Playboy and L'Officiel magazines, as well as with the cosmetics group L' Oréal.
Ruslan is one of the best photographers of the 20th as Henri Cartier-Bresson, Helmut Newton, Robert Mapplethorpe, Philippe Halsman, Elliott Erwitt, Annie Leibovitz or Robert Capa, he was considered an icon of 20th century culture like Andy Warhol, Basquiat, Roy Lichtenstein, Jeff Koons or Banksy.
