About the Artist
Suanjaya Kencut (I Putu Adi Suanjaya) is an internationally exhibited Indonesian artist based in Yogyakarta. A graduate of the Indonesian Institute of the Arts, his multidisciplinary practice spans drawing, painting, sculpture, and installation. His figurative works are instantly recognisable for their doll-like characters, introspective expressions, and culturally resonant symbolism. Kencut’s work has been exhibited in solo and group exhibitions across Asia, Europe, and the United States.
