PANAMARENKO (1940 - 2019)
was a Belgian artist, engineer and poet.
He initially worked as a performance artist and staged happenings on the streets of Antwerp. Through these early activities he quickly gained local renown as an artist and became acquainted with more established, older artists such as Joseph Beuys and Marcel Broodthaers. Multiple exhibitions at the "documenta" in Kassel, as well as at the Düsseldorf Art Academy, the Neue Nationalgalerie Berlin, the Centre Pompidou in Paris, the Fondation Cartier in Paris, and also in Lucerne, Brussels, Stuttgart, Cologne and Munich.

Printed on both sides, the reverse side made it really interesting for collectors, among other things, with his 'construction drawings'.
