Grzegorz Gust presents the original 2025 acrylic and mixed‑media painting titled Galaktyka, a blue, pink and multicolour landscape on canvas, measuring 70 by 100 cm and signed by the artist.
Description from the seller
In "Galaxy" I strive to capture the moment when matter forms in the boundless expanse. This is an image that balances between chaos and harmony. I have applied here an original acrylic layering technique, which allowed me to achieve the effect of cracking matter and stardust. The distinctive crackle network gives the canvas an almost geologic depth, suggesting we are witnessing processes lasting billions of years.
The color palette here is deliberately unconventional – from cool blues and grays, through earthy tones, to bursts of warm salmon and gold. I wanted this cosmos not to be cold and alien, but close, organic, and full of hidden energy.
This is a piece that 'lives' under the fingertips. A complex network of microcracks and a matte finish make the image incredibly intriguing in direct perception.
The composition does not have a single central point, which visually enlarges the interior, giving the viewer a sense of freedom and breathing space.
A subdued yet rich color palette makes 'Galaktyka' perfect for minimalist, modern interiors, serving as a refined accent.
A painting with painted edges, ready to hang.
