Description from the seller
Acrylic on MDF board, 45 × 60 cm
In this painting Daniele Dell’Uomo builds the landscape through a wide atmospheric breath, in which the sky becomes the dominant element and emotional guide of the entire composition. The clouds, rendered with free and layered brushstrokes, introduce a sense of slow and natural movement, while the horizon remains deliberately fluid and undefined.
The landscape beneath emerges through chromatic hints: patches of warm and cool color alternate, suggesting fields, vegetation, and distant presences without ever describing them literally. The painting proceeds by subtraction, leaving room for perception and memory more than for representation.
The work conveys a sense of calm and openness, typical of Dell’Uomo's search, in which nature becomes an interior space and the landscape is transformed into an emotional experience.
A work that reflects Dell'Uomo's poetics: nature as an emotional refuge, the hill as a place of memory, the sunset as a passage and a breath of fresh air.
Daniele Dell'Uomo is a painter with a recognizable style, characterized by instinctive painting and a particular attention to light. His research ranges from emotional landscapes to a more contemporary production developed in the parallel project DUD Contemporary Art Studio.
